Job Description
Our client is a Fortune 500 industrial manufacturer of sophisticated electronically controlled industrial fluid control smart instrumentation used in the power, oil and gas and process industries.
Due to their continued growth and new technology development efforts we are searching for a Software Engineer to architect, design and develop various Windows/Web based software, including:
* industrial equipment lifecycle data management application
* automation and control user interface application development
* integration and interoperability of software/software and software/hardware.
* participating in the software development
* process improvement and software testing plan design.
* SQL Database architecture development
* Web based applications design
This individual will be instrumental in leading the development process in requirements, design, testing and V&V planning, unit testing, code review, etc. Involvement includes working with the software team collaboratively on a global base and in a fast paced environment.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor degree in engineering or computing technology. and 10 or more years software development experience in Industrial equipment related applications, with a Microsoft development environment including:
* .NET, C#, C++, MFC, ATL, WTL, Visual Studio, MS-SQL.
* OOD, 3-tier architecture, XML, SOAP,
* Web technology and software development process is required.
Experienced in equipment management related software application, including asset management, record maintenance and product lifecycle application is also required. Highly desirable experience would include industrial automation and applications including industrial communication, Human Machine Interface HMI, GUI, and software integration and interoperability. Must be a great communicator, have solid documentation ability, and be a strong team player.
